hi. im just about to venture into super 8 for the first time. i was looking at the kodak website. i found that they sell kodachrome k40 film, its 50 feet long. how long will that film in 24fps? 18fps? the camera that i have is a bauer C6. i see where you can change the speed you want to film at, it doesnt say 24fps, but in between 18 and 36, there is a little notch that it stops at.. im supposing this is 24?? also, i was thinking that super8 wouldnt film very well in dark situations. am i correct? and for that kodak film, does anyone know how much it costs, developing and everything, and anything about student discounts? sorry for so many questions, but thanks a lot.

At 24 fps a 50 foot cartridge will last 2 minutes 30 seconds - you can get a 50 ft K-40 cart with processing mailer CAT No. 505 3335, for $13.54 - If you're a student they'll discount 20% or you can buy it without the mailer for $10 something and send it to Dwayne's in Kansas for $9 processing if you want it back sooner - Order directly from Kodak at 800-621-FILM (3456) - S
